1. Add the native compiler, make and ncurses library if they are not already in your development system.
apt-get install gcc g++ make libncurses5-dev
2 Add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://www.emdebian.org/debian/ lenny main
apt-get install emdebian-archive-keyring apt-get update
3. Install the following packages
apt-get install linux-libc-dev-armel-cross libc6-armel-cross libc6-dev-armel-cross binutils-arm-linux-gnueabi gcc-4.3-arm-linux-gnueabi g++-4.3-arm-linux-gnueabi gdb-arm-linux-gnu uboot-mkimage
#apt-get install apt-cross dpkg-cross
